LibreCAL Electronic Calibration Module with VNA Lab Characterisation

The open-source 4-port LibreCAL electronic calibration module, 9 kHz to 6 GHz, supplied with an updated calibration: a fresh VNA Lab characterisation of this unit against our Keysight 85052C reference. One USB-C module, four SMA ports, every Open, Short, Load and Thru state measured and written to the device.

Why an updated calibration?

LibreCAL stores the definitions of its own internal standards on-board, and every calibration you perform with it is only as accurate as that stored data. We measure each unit on a VNA calibrated with a genuine Keysight 85052C precision kit and write the result back, so the definitions describe the module in your hand rather than a generic one.

• USB stick with the characterisation as Touchstone files, per port and state, for inspection, verification or use in your own software

Note: electronic calibration does not include an isolation step. Add one with a mechanical load if your measurement needs it.
